Part-Time Elementary Math Intervention (Title I.A) Teacher Bowling Green School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary teacher to provide math intervention in the elementary setting. This position will focus part-time on providing small-group instruction for students requiring math intervention. The ideal candidate will create a challenging yet supportive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
Salary: This is a part-time, nine-month certified teaching position based on the district’s certified salary schedule and commensurate with experience. Possibility of full-time position with additional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, small group, or individualized instruction to identified students using differentiated, research-based strategies
- Use a variety of manipulatives and hands-on activities to support content standards and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
- Monitor student progress through assessments and data analysis, and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support differentiation and interventions
- Collaborate with paraprofessional(s) for planning and support
- Communicate regularly with families
- Participate in professional development, team collaboration, and district initiatives
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
- Valid Elementary certification (K-6 preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and effective interventions
Benefits This is a part-time certified position that may include participation in the Missouri Public School Retirement System (PSRS)
